Nicest restaurant in the area. We enjoyed dinner at Gaston's on the river. The Jon Boat salad bar was impressive with the diverse offerings so recommend getting that with your meal. We loved the bird feeders along the windows facing the river. It was nice to watch the birds eating at the feeders and the fishing boats float by during dinner. Nicest restaurant in the area. We enjoyed dinner at Gaston's on the river. The Jon Boat salad bar was impressive with the diverse offerings so recommend getting that with your meal. We loved the bird feeders along the windows facing the river. It was nice to watch the birds eating at the feeders and the fishing boats float by during dinner. Unusual and interesting decor throughout. Lots of collections and antiques. There are peacocks wandering around. One blocked our car and started attacking our car so someone had to chase it off. It was bizarre. There is also a bird cage area with turkeys, peacocks and other birds at the parking lot entrance. They have a large parking lot, gift store, outdoor and indoor bathrooms
Was buffet only the day we visited.
