My friend and I called in for lunch, we enjoyed our meal,but it fell short on a poor choice of drink, as only plain tea, or coffee. Not many in staff pleasant and friendly. We will call again. View all feedback. What User likes about The Turnpike Bawtry:
I stopped in for a pint and a bite to eat, and I ordered the southern fried chicken sandwich with chips. The sandwich was fantastic, and the chicken was tasty and generous in portion. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the chips—they were quite sparse, with no more than a dozen on the plate. On the bright side, the meal came with a complimentary soft drink. The pub was clean, and the staff were wonderful. View all feedback.
