I made friends with 4 local families who all re... read more My first trip to Sardegna has been better than expected. I chose Santa Maria Navaresse for its small town charm. I made friends with 4 local families who all recommended many restaurants. I have eaten at 5 restaurants so far this week but after a wonderful meal and service (from the young girl upstairs who works harder than any girl on this island) at Lungomare last night I decided to return. I asked her for a table inside because I was hoping for a lighter meal tonight and didn’t want to take up an upstairs patio table for just myself-though last night it wasn’t a problem. A boy interrupts and comes out from the back and REFUSES ME SERVICE. He literally said I could not eat there. Rather than argue I chose instead to tell all the nice families who live here what he did to a guest of this town. What a horrible person to work in such a sweet town.
