Schoental - Bauma

Still one of my favorites. Everything was great again as usual. With new dessert creations and also the old classics. It also has enough parking spaces. And when the weather is nice, it's absolutely beautiful outside.

The food and service were great, everything was clean in the restaurant. Quality of the food was impeccably delicious and the normal price was payable for each person. Gladly again.

I discovered Schöntal by chance. We were at the nearby campsite on a Saturday and Schöntal was the first restaurant open when we were looking for an opportunity for lunch. What we were offered there, over lunch, with a 'normal ' venison sausage... a greeting from the kitchen at a star level! And the sausage and hash browns were also first class. Add to that the friendly and attentive service, we were really impressed and went to Schöntal for dinner that same evening. Since then, every now and then... less than desired due to the pandemic... and every time it was an experience and a joy! Now some people are probably thinking “yes, that costs too” and then comes the surprise: the prices are not only ok. but in my opinion cheap. In the city of Zurich the menus would certainly cost 30% to 40% more. So absolute recommendation for price/performance. I 'm already looking forward to my next visit to Schöntal.

Very friendly service and super delicious food. The food is very nicely prepared. I then highly recommend the restaurant.
