It had poor fishing equipment and didn't get us on many fi... read more Book through Cyrus but never got on a Cyrus boat. Got on a boat from another resort that Cyrus hired. It had poor fishing equipment and didn't get us on many fish. Day 2 was much better when we got on a private owned boat with good equipment thatCyrus hired. Captains name was Donny and was very good.. booked through Cyrus because of there reputation of putting therecustomers on fish, which didn't happen on day one. There cabins, bar and restaurant are very nice with good food.

We had a nice little corner of the dining room, and our waitress was fantastic. Good food, too!

My husban... read more The cabin was spotlessly clean and even nicer than I had anticipated. The food was delicious, and we were able to take some back to the cabin with us. My husband and our friends managed to catch a remarkable number of walleyes, which added to our enjoyment of the trip. The cabins that offered charters also seemed to have a successful time fishing. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. However, the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent, forcing us to rely on our phones for a hotspot when we needed to work. Additionally, it's worth noting that there is no longer a pool on the property, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, I'm sure this review would have earned five stars. All in all, we had a fantastic experience.

I... read more I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the lodge. The food was excellent as well. However, there wasn't much seafood available—just bad luck with Mother Nature! I would have loved to use the fireplace for that cozy cabin feel. I would definitely go back again!
