Contribute FeedbackDiscovering a seafood restaurant with a full vegan menu was a pleasant surprise for diners. The food options, including BBQ and Cajun-inspired dishes, were thoroughly enjoyed, with standout items like fried pickles and Cajun hummus. The BBQ Soy Curl sandwich, Beyond Burger Deluxe, and fried pickles were all described as delicious. The restaurant also offers creative takes on classics such as mac and cheese and tempeh salad, along with a variety of dessert options. Although the restaurant was busy, diners were seated quickly and served promptly once their orders were placed. Overall, the vegan food options were highly praised, making this restaurant a must-visit for vegans looking for a diverse and flavorful menu.
What a surprise to find a whole menu of vegan options in a seafood restaurant! the eating style is south and kajun, so the options are on bbq and mac and cheese. the fried pickles and cajun hummus were great appetizers. we chose the marmbalaya with tofu and rice that was delicious. we also had the smokey bbq tempeh salat. this is only an salat (letter, tomaten, gurke, crumbs), but they do a fantastic work with the smokey bbq tempeh. her homemade ranch is pretty good. 2 dessert options in the night we were there. chocolate cheesecake (not made in the house, so we skipped it) and walnuts topped fudge brownie. the brownie was made in the house, good and a huge portion, much for 2 people. that is a restaurant next to a hotel. it was very crowded, but we sat fast and as soon as our order was received, served quite fast.
Wow! if I could give five stars, I would do that! (apply didn't let me have the bbq soy curl sandwich, the beyond burger deluxe and the fried Pickles killer around everyone! it was great.
So I was a little hesitant if there were any good vegan options in a seafood restaurant. to my surprise they had a whole menu dedicated to plant objects. I am used to choose a solid option if I have luck, but a whole menu was a joy. the food was delicious, and the cajun kicked pickles with homemade ranch were the best I ever had. the atmosphere was different, but the vegan foods were wonderful.
Specially selected nights they can board and pay a price for a vegan buffet and on other days there are some options on the regular menu. They even had a vegan breakfast buffet on ostern. eating is okay, but usually hot wet eating, in which is not much fresh and some of them is a little strange, but they make their own vegan cheese and others dinge from ground up, so maybe it's just not exactly what I'm used to. the osterbuffet was amazing and had a lot of options, including biscuits and gravy! it is a cool event and we have gone several times to support it and will go again. if they are a big eater, it is also a really good offer for vegans eating.
Menu says “plant-based”, but I confirmed it’s all vegan. Some of the best vegan food in the area! Found due to Happy Cow on a visit to Battle Creek, and went twice. Fried pickles are great, and they have some of the best vegan ranch I’ve ever had. I don’t usually like Beyond Burger (I prefer Impossible), but the burger was delightful. Also tried the soy curl BBQ sandwich…was not a fan. The Mac and cheese had a little spice to it, which I really liked. Fries were tasty. This is definitely “bar food”, so it’s pretty heavy, and don’t expect anything gourmet..but definitely a home run.
