What Domenico Feil doesn't like about Annapurna:
This restaurant is situated in the North Hobart Restaurant Precinct. We arrived earlyish at 6.30 and was not too busy at the time. It slowly filled up within say 30 min though. I recommend booking. We orderd the meals “hot” yet came out mild to my tastes. The food remains nice though and each main came with complementary rice (not an additional order). Naans tasted nice and fresh. Service was good. View all feedback. What Iliana Beier likes about Annapurna:
This addition to the restaurants in Salamanca place is well worth a visit. The food on offer was varied enough to suit most tastes, staff were friendly and informative they did not mind the presence of small children and suggested curries suitable for our varied tolerance to spicy food. We were all happy withour meals, I enjoyed the butter chicken and was more than full, the serve size was good. View all feedback.

read moreAnnapurna, located in Hobart, is a hidden gem that has received rave reviews for its phenomenal Goat Biriyani. Visitors have been so impressed with the flavors and quality of the food that some have traveled all the way from Sydney just to dine at this restaurant. The Goat Biriyani, described as divine and out of this world, has been a consistent favorite among guests. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, such as Saag Paneer and Cheese Naan, which have also received high praise. Despite some complaints about noise levels and delays in service, the overall consensus is that Annapurna is a must-visit Indian restaurant in Hobart. The friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices make this establishment a standout in the dining scene near Salamanca Place.
