What Gihan Chinthaka doesn't like about Hela Bojun Hala:
Environment is more nicer than the food. Very cool and calm surrounding with some wilderness. Variety of healthy foods are available for a reasonable price. Car park is adequate. Also a agricultural shop is nearby where you can get seeds and stuff. View all feedback.
Great local food cooked by beautiful local women all vegan I believe, in a nice setting considering its in Colombo!
Super quality and fresh food. Great place to grab a healthy breakfast. Prices are also super convenient.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the prices were great. We enjoyed our meal outside in the shade and had fresh string hoppers with coconut gravy, pol sambol, and parippu. We also had a refreshing belimal tea and couldn't resist getting a second cup along with a coconut and treacle pancake (pani pol). The total for all this fresh and tasty food was only 140 lkr! We highly recommend visiting this restaurant for both the experience and the food. You can find Hela Bojun outlets all across the country.
This restaurant is locally owned and operated by women, but managed by the government. They prepare local dishes such as Thosai and Hoppers right in front of you, and they are always fresh and delicious. The dishes are served on lotus leaves, and the area is surrounded by lotus plants. The prices are very affordable.
Traditional foods made to perfection at reasonable pricing
