Zeeland Street Market - Baton Rouge

My daughter and I were in the mood for lunch and decided to meet up. The lunch specials looked very tempting, and we were not disappointed! There’s good Southern cuisine offered here without the overwhelming portions found in some other places. We will definitely be back! I had the smoked pecan brisket, which was fantastic, and my daughter ordered the tuna salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Great little lunch place! We had roasted the pot and it was well seasoned and delicious. My favorite part was the grain bread! I love it! My son had a burger and I had something of it; it was juicy and tasty. My family and I really enjoyed eating here!

Good food cooked faster than normal. We now live in the middle and didn't know it was so close. We will also return to breakfast to taste it. I got the cats today.

I had a fantastic first experience at this restaurant, and it certainly won’t be my last! The staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast, and I absolutely loved my pancakes! The eggs and bacon were also delicious. They even have a sandwich named after me, The Lydia, which I can't wait to try on my next visit.
