Very clean retail with great food in one place. It was hard to decide what to eat with all the great options. I enjoyed the building decoration and lighting. Parking is a bit narrow for larger vehicles, but still manageable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about White Star Market:
The food was very good, but incredibly overpriced and small in proportions. Imagine going out to eat in upscale California: trendy, cute, polite, inflated. The picture below cost me $12 . . . and that was with a 10% discount. View all feedback.

Open cafeteria environment with different types of kitchens. If you want Ramen and your friend Tacos, this is the place to go. This place also has wood-fired pizza. The rams were very good. Would like to visit again.
Love that this concept has come to Baton Rouge! White Star Market is a lively place for lunch, with people young and old, through the hall. Many options to choose from with tacos, pizza, cajun, bakery and a complete service bar. I had a Cajun Cubano from Fete a la fete. It was delicious! I'm looking forward to going back. My only complaint is that it is so popular, it is difficult to find parking and sit a place during peak hours. If you are not a fan of masses, I would recommend visiting Peak.
The White Star Market is a little hidden gem, at least for me. I saw a recommendation for this place on Google and had to try it out. It's a shop on steroids. What a great concept!!! A bunch of tables in the middle with restaurants around him. These include: A Pizza Square A Taco Square A Ramen Noodle/Phó Square Cajun Food Juicy Square Another Asian Place A Coffee Common A Bar in the Corner And at least another place I cannot remember what it is. That's great! Finally going somewhere when I ask her where she wants to go for dinner and everything I get is “whatever. ‘
Today we experienced this location. We ordered The Addy, Ramen. The flavor was so delicious. Noodles cooked a bit too long. Sticky. But it still was delicious. Also ordered the spicy chicken “taco” for those who may not know. I wish I could give you the names but I can’’t, sorry. I also got like the Pho “Nachos” with tots and omg they are soooo good! Everything was spectacular. Got this wine slush at the bar across the way..so delicious was like drinking a swamp thing from Pappadeaux’s. I’m so happy we found this place, and we will be frequenting it often. Makes me feel like I’m living back home in Cali. The guys at the Ramen place were very kind and informative and their advice on what to order turned out to be top notch. Great place...hope it blossoms into something even more for summer nights in the BR. Music and dancing and food. That would be the ultimate.
