Tokyo Grill Sushi Hibachi - Baton Rouge

I wanted to share my experience because the staff was wonderful, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered hibachi steak and steak fried rice, but it tasted like the steak was old or perhaps reheated in a microwave; it had a distinct rubbery texture. We took our food to go and only discovered this once we got home. I had asked for my steak to be cooked rare, but it came out well done. My boyfriend enjoyed the sushi, but I'm not sure if we just happened to visit on a bad night. I couldn't even eat the steak; I ended up picking it out of the rice and felt really upset about it.

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the sushi is excellent—always fresh!

This restaurant offers excellent value for the price. The food is delicious, and the staff at the cash register were very friendly.

Pork Katsu w/fried rice and House Udon Noodles that had beef, shrimp and pork. Both dishes are amazing. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant. I have come here for years and have never been disappointed. Only serving via carry out and no indoor dining due to Covid. Service still wonderful as always.
