Pleasantly surprised by the delicious dishes. We had the Prosciutto Flatbread and a chicken caprese sandwich. Save space for Dessert... The coconut cake was amazing View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Crown Bistro:
Well......... Pricey........... And they microwaved all my food. (could watch it through their kitchen window) also took an hour to bring it all out.... Probably because they only have 1 microwave. ? View all feedback.
On Saturday morning, my family and I sat together to have brunch as we waited for our food, we got an unexpected and annoying phone call that led us to go. The staff did not think twice about it without asking, they credited all our bills and gave us a 20% voucher. We were so grateful and grateful. I would recommend this bistro to everyone.
I had lunch with my wife. Very good selection of generously looking salads and good sandwich selection. My duchess chicken was excellent. Good place to impress your wife or date with a beautiful, relaxing lunch.
Very nice place to have a reception. The indoor and outdoor space was on marvelous.
Soup and salad was pretty good deal (although side salad on wife’s sandwich had brown lettuce from bag- yeccch! .
The venue genuinely does not deserve one star, but in order for me to leave a review I had to rate them. Let me start out by saying that I have been here for brunch prior to 04/23/2002, and have never had any issues. I booked a brunch for my mother’s 63rd birthday, with roughly 10 guests. When I spoke with Gabrielle restaurant manager), she informed me that she had two other large parties around the time that I was booked for, so our food may take a little while to get to us, due to kitchen having one oven. Because she was gracious enough to provide this information ahead time, I let her know that I was totally understanding of their situation, and would order champagne and appetizers ahead of time, as to not have my mother’s guests sitting for an hour with no refreshments. I went in the Thursday prior, and paid $250 for appetizers to be ready upon our arrival. The event started for 11a, in which all guests arrived on time, with the exception of myself. Once I arrived at 12p, I seated myself and asked my mom if entree orders had been taken? She responded with no, telling me that the waitress, Kara was waiting for me to arrive to begin to put orders in. I sat for 30 minutes and the waitress never acknowledged me, came back to check on our table, or even refill drinks… As a matter of fact, she stood conversing with two other women at a table adjacent from ours. At 12:45p, I excused myself from the table and, apologized to Kara for interrupting her conversation, but whenever she was ready, my guests were ready to order. As I turned my back and walked away, my guest witnessed Kara roll her eyes at me, then as I take my seat, I witness her very disrespectfully lift menu’s in her hand to her mouth, and proceeds to talk about me and my guests, to the two women at the other table. The two women then start looking at our group as if there were some type of issue. I am completely puzzled at this point, so once Kara finally makes her way over 5 minutes later), I begin to voice my concerns. Kara immediately cuts me off, without apology and grabs her manager. The manager, Ms. Gabrielle, was also dismissive, and took things a step further when she allowed Kara to challenge me in front of guests and other employees. Never pulling her from the floor or trying to diffuse the situation, other than positioning herself somewhat in front of Kara, during a verbal exchange that I was having with her employee, who had the audacity to give me a hard stare, for simply asking for her name to make a formal complaint for her extremely poor service . This establishment will NEVER see my money again, retail or restaurant side. Also, to add injury to insult I am of African American decent, as was Kara…. Everyone else there that day, including the two women she was so kindly attending to…. Caucasian. In the future train your black employees to check their attitudes at the door… Thank goodness I have common sense, because this could have ended horribly had it been someone else.
