it was a good experience. eating was much better than expected. a little overcrowded because of a birthday party was booked. we could also hear live music from the bar area that was pretty nice. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tallulah Crafted Food And Wine At Renaissance Baton Rouge:
This place is not set up for serving brunch… the workers did not have our reservation nor were they open for business. I got there at 11:30 and they were just getting to work. I strongly recommend NO ONE choose this place for your anniversary brunch… you and all your guest will be severely disappointed and left hungry and unfulfilled. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. We shared the Charcuterie board, which was beautifully presented with cheese, sausage, grapes, various meats. it was so much delicious eating that doesn't even order a dishonest! service was great. as seen in other contributions, it is not much different in the look than other hotel lobby restaurants. but since Christmas the hotel was beautifully decorated! the terrace outside the bar is very nice with flames, swimming pools, fountains.
The dinning area remains closed; food in the bar only. The temp of the main course was too cool. On a postive side the gumbo was good although salty.

Food was good. You are basically sitting in the side foyer of the hotel. A soloist was playing music, which was nice.
Lunch Burger was great. Wedge Fries were good, crunchy outside, tender inside. Server was great. Know Jose from his Conga playing in local bands.
