Sullivan's Steakhouse - Baton Rouge

We visited the steakhouse after reading its mixed reviews.We were greeted by smiling hostesses and promptly seated ,Mandy (Amanda)our waitress, greeted us with her friendly smile , she answered our questions and made suggestions. My girlfriend ordered the lobster-shrimp bisque, we both tasted it and it was ok nothing special about it,her main course was the Chilean sea bass ,it was delicious!!!! For my main course I had the Wagyu 18 oz steak , when it arrived it looked/smelled amazing , I cut it down the middle to check the temperature and to my surprise, it was very tough to cut which was a huge disappointment... It was seasoned perfectly, however to chew it was a struggle, I had three bites and decided it just wasn't worth the trouble to try to eat it. I wouldn't not recommend this item/steak when visiting Sullivan's .

Had the Thanksgiving pri fixe menu. It was fine. The menu said it cost $49 per person. Yet, on my bill, it charged for every course except dessert. It came out to $51. I am puzzled. And, had to ask three times for water

NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL!!!!!! Took my family of 5 there tonight. Our bill was $422 which was expected but wasn't expected was it taking 15 minutes to get our drinks, then the waiter forgot the kids drinks. My steak I ordered medium rare. It was barely seared and still raw. Then to boot the waiter brought my receipt back and not my card after I had paid and tipped 20% needless to say I will not be back. Also the pics I posed are right outside the front door. You want to charge almost $100 for steak that isn't even cooked properly but can't pick up cigarette butts on your sidewalk hopefully this will help other from wasting their money. If you want fine dining got to Mansurs on the boulevard.better service and food.

I WAS a frequent customer of Sullivan’s. Not Anymore! Me and a coworker recently went for their birthday, we both ordered the Prime Rib sandwich. I’m sorry to say, I was completely embarrassed by how little meat there was on the sandwich. This sandwich has been ruined! The quality of the meat is not the same as it was previously. I am including 2 photos. The first photo is of the sign outside, the second photo is the actual sandwich!

You are looking for fine food and the best steak you will ever eat, then you found it here at Sullivan. Our waitress was very charming and funny, also made some solid recommendations. We started with the Steak Wellington Bites that were divine. I ordered the rack of Lamb and my engagement had the porterhouse. Everything was good. The flesh melts in your mouth. I'll be back.
