Good service, excellent food. The vegetarian plate, the pita bread and the lentil soup were delicious. My husband had the salmon that was pretty amazing. They just need to work a little more on the roasted potatoes, they look like fried and the texture is not good.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian options to choose from.Parking: It is located at a shopping center, do there's plenty of parking. What Ny Andrews doesn't like about Romans Cafe:
First and far most they look at you crazy when you walk in .. use 0 gloves and they must have new owners or something the chicken was so dry my pizza wasn’t fully topped like usually and it have a slight burnt taste I’ve ate here multiple times last year and was satisfied today I’m truly disappointed and dissatisfied with my pizza :(Inserted a picture of the very dry pizza View all feedback.
The freshest food. Amazing taste. Wonderful service.
Some of the best, if not the best Greek food in Baton Rouge. Up there with Serop's on Bluebonnet. Had Roman's Calzone for lunch, was incredible. Free pita as well.
I think they have the best Greek food in town. The pita bread is fresh. Service is quick and friendly.
Update: went in recently and was super disappointed. It seems like the is restaurant is following the same path the original location did- up for a while and then a consistent bottom shelf decline. This restaurant went from being Country Guy?s mostanticipated restaurant to meh. The sandwich had barely any protein. I felt like I was still eating the complimentary pita bread. The dipping oil for the pita, was all oil. We were saddened to see this. The fresh pita and dipping oil was always thehighlight. The service- these servers need some training around the BR area. Poker face only works at the casino and church. Ifthe Mean Girls look is in, Mean Girls would not be proud. We hope the past two experiences were flukes. January 2022- Thecuisine is in the top three Mediterranean in Baton Rouge. The Lebanese tea is delicious. Small place compared to what theoriginal site used to be. They do offer pizzas for those customers who aren?t fans of this type of cuisine.
Best shawarma in town and the Romans salad can't be beat. This location does fresh pita in the pizza oven and it's delicious.
