very good food. we were too late for the buffet had the mixed spits (bef, huh and garnel), a gordita, and a boarmast. skewers had 3 color bells paprika, bevel, rice and black roasted beans. masa for the tamale was excellent, and pork tender and very tasteful. chunks are big, so if they like a little of everything on each bite. to start. milder than most American Mexican and tex mex. spicy are more cumin, curry and mi... What User doesn't like about Mi Tierra:
the vibe at this place was great that you were at the door. I didn't really understand that Spanish. but they will have one that can speak English. they even have bottle drinks. it was good. the food was crushed until I found a hair in my food. I wanted to cry, it's amazing and it was my first time here. I'll give him an update after I have one more day. View all feedback.

Very good food. We were too late for the buffet had the mixed skewer (beef, chicken and shrimp), a Gordita, and a pork tamale. Skewers had 3 color bell peppers an onions, rice and black refried beans. Masa for the tamale was excellent, and pork tender and very flavorful. Chunks are large, so if you like a little of everything on every bite. Break them up first. Milder than most American Mexican and Tex Mex. Spices are more cumin, curry and milder peppers, not cayenne, paprika and chili powder. Food did not come fast, and server warned us that the skewers took time. Food prepared per order takes time. She brought us out everything as it became ready, which worked well.
3 stars because the food is good, that?s not at all the issue. I?d have easily given 5 star if only they had better service? make sure you?re not in a rush or hangry when you go because they take a ridiculous amount of time in bringing the food out : I?ve been here about 3 times already it was always the same so I?d just expect it at this point. I also may have given it a lower rating if it wasn?t because this city doesn?t really seem to have that many good spots for Latin food to choose from or to recommend instead? so yeah, its unfortunate that one of the few good spot comes is so slow, hope this changes that newer reviews can say the service is better.
This is one of my favourite restaurants because they make the best baleadas that I've had outside of Honduras. Their pupusas and pastelitos are also really good. They only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because the service is trash. The waitresses don't greet you as you walk in the door, nor are they very attentive. There were 2 ladies there before, a year or so ago and they were awesome; however, it seems like they are no longer there as I don't see them anymore. The new waitresses need customer service training. Otherwise, great place.
I went to this restaurant on a weekday and found the food to be a little salty. They offered a buffet with good beans and rice, but the pork chops were disappointing. The chicken, on the other hand, was tasty. The horchata drink was amazing. Customer service was average, scoring a 5 out of 10 in my books. Overall, I would rate this visit a 7 out of 10, with a need to improve on the seasoning of the food. I returned on June 17, 2022, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, some things never change. I ordered the chicken with plantains and found the chicken to be terrible - very tough and with a bad taste. The Coleslaw was flavorless, and the portions were small and overpriced. I would not return to this restaurant, and I rate this experience a 1 out of 10 for the poor quality of food.
