This restaurant is outstanding! If I could give it 10 stars, I definitely would. The service was fantastic, and the food and drinks were wonderful. The staff was friendly and attentive. And I have to mention the banana cheesecake—it's absolutely incredible! Be sure to check them out and have a great time! View all feedback.
I dined at this franchise in Destin, Florida, and I can't wait to visit the one in New Orleans. Who doesn't enjoy oysters on the half shell? We arrived before the place got too crowded, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. The oysters were served on ice with sauce and lemon—absolutely massive! Not just big, but truly huge. They were incredibly delicious, and I definitely plan to come back for more. The restaurant was clean, and the cherished tablecloths reminded me of my childhood, giving it a nostalgic touch.
This is a really nice, laid-back restaurant. A few people wanted to go somewhere else, but that place was always overcrowded with tourists. This spot is much more relaxed. I sat at the bar, and the service was fantastic. The locals were friendly, and the food was quite tasty. In addition to the oysters, the seafood gumbo was particularly excellent. Parking was a breeze. Overall, it was a great experience. On November 6, 2021, the market price for Rohaustern was $17 per dozen.
I should start by saying that I'm not a huge fan of fried food, but when in Louisiana, the saying goes to embrace local customs. A friend recommended this place, and I was not disappointed. What I do regret, however, is not taking more pictures for this review. I truly enjoyed the oysters—so much so that I ordered two dozen! The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the roasted fish and fried shrimp were likely the best I've had in a long time. The rubber bear was also quite tasty, though I didn't have enough of it to be an expert. It was definitely better than the gumbo I had the day before. The service was quite good overall, though my only complaint is that the meals didn't all arrive at the same time. If you find yourself in Baton Rouge and enjoy roasted dishes, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
I absolutely love Acme, and this Acme is much cleaner and less crowded compared to the New Orleans, would recommend their charged boiled oysters, sweet potatoes and boo-frries
Just recently visited for the first time with my fiance and we absolutely love the food, service, and environment. Everyone was very friendly
