I've long been a fan of muffin break, and the Bathurst branch is in a handy location. The coffee used to be very good, and the sweet treats were also yummy. How... read more I've long been a fan of muffin break, and the Bathurst branch is in a handy location. The coffee used to be very good, and the sweet treats were also yummy. However, something has definitely changed over the past 18 -24 months. The coffee has definitely moved to just average, lacking the good rich flavour it used to have. The sweet treats have also gone downhill - it seems that they might be keeping the stock for too long, so that you risk getting stale, dry goods. I used to love the bran muffins, but the last couple I've ordered have been dry and awful. I've moved on to find another favourite coffee shop, but I feel disappointed that this muffin break has slid downhill so much!
