Description

Located in Bathurst, this restaurant offers a mixed experience for diners. The beer selection may be limited and the portions on the smaller side, but prices are reasonable considering the 2022 alternative. The sign-in process can be slow due to only two machines, leading to frustration for some. However, once seated, meals come out quickly and are generally of good quality, though Greek Salad may lack key ingredients. The venue itself may lack charm, resembling a budget airline terminal, but the food choices are great and well-priced. Despite some mixed reviews, the staff are friendly, offering country hospitality, and the service is prompt. The restaurant also offers specials and tasty pub meals, with the broken fish and pizzas receiving high praise. While not a fine dining experience, the friendly service, reasonable prices, and generous portions make this a solid choice for a meal in Bathurst.

Twas the night before The Great Race when Bathurst was anything but quiet. The club was very busy but the staff were calm, organised and friendly. A credit to them. Our meals were very nice. We'll return for sure.

Stopped past the club for dinner and found the staff courteous and friendly. Counrty hospitality. The dining room was comfortable, ordering easy, service prompt, and meals tasty and generous. Definately a stop off point.

There were 6 of us. Four meals were cold. My Salt and Pepper Squid was more like rubber encased in concrete. Most food went home for the dogs at least something good came o fit.

This venue has all the charm of a budget airline terminal. A huge open seating area to imbibe over priced drinks. I think it had a bistro but I'm not too sure. There was a window where food could be ordered and collected and then...the diner made their own arrangements. This place could learn an awful lot about atmosphere from the pub diagonally opposite it.

Our meals were nice, but a few of us were on the move. the sauce bottles must be filled and cleaned before opening. spent 30 seconds trying to squeeze an ounce out of the bottle and there is something about cooks/cooks that do not wear hair nets that is a bit clean. sure that's a normal reasonable thing to do, but maybe I'm just old-fashioned.
