However, I did notice some areas of the pub where... read more This is a family-friendly pub with delicious meals and a welcoming staff. The customer service is commendable. However, I did notice some areas of the pub where there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. The establishment features a sports bar and a gaming area, and there are TVs displaying channels Seven, Nine, and Fox Sports in the main bar and dining area. This pub has a history, having previously been known as Stumby’s Restaurant. Additionally, there is ample parking available both in front of the pub and behind the building.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist me, even fetching my favorite beer from the bar next door when it was unavailable at the bistro. The steak was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious, earning another five stars. My wife’s barramundi was equally well-prepared, remaining moist and perfectly done. The beer was served ice-cold, which was just right. I truly appreciated the traditional and attentive service that’s hard to find these days. When I return to Bathurst, I will definitely be back for dinner!
