We're visitors from Sydney and our friends, who are local, took is to what was in their opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Bathurst.The service was friendly... read more We're visitors from Sydney and our friends, who are local, took is to what was in their opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Bathurst.The service was friendly and the waitstaff helpful, but the food itself was infortunately westernised and too sweet. It was as if we'd walked back in time to the Chinese restaurants my parents took me to in the 1960s. Maybe my taste buds have become accustomed to the profusion of authentic ethnic food available in Sydney, but I was a tad disappointed that this positive trend had not yet reached over the mountains.
