Started at a 3/5. Waited an hour for the full order. 30 minutes for the 1st half. They gave us chippies (fries) as a thank you for waiting, but they were extremely stale. The peri peri salt saved them. The appetizer haloumi portion is small pricey. Came out in 15 minutes. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Burned is what Nando's does well. Charred may be a better word, so when the garlic bread arrived black it sort of added to the magic. Nevertheless it was added to by a fresh batch, unasked for, which was both thoughtful and delicious. This Nando's, underground almost, is attractively cool on a hot day and offers service that's second to none. We went for the chicken. Of course. That's why they're there. And thank goodness they are. Five stars plus an extra one because it was a busy Friday. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
