We made a visit because we had heard the Lamb served excellent food. We were not disappointed. Not only was the food superb (Cajun chicken burger with rustic chips and also Monkfish scampi with plenty of sides and not forgetting the beef brisket chilli con-carne Nachos), but the welcoming atmosphere and excellent staff added to the occasion. I strongly recommend the Lamb at Clandown and will be visiting again. A must... View all feedback.
The restaurant has a talented chef who prepares delicious food. The service is friendly and quick. The only downside was the lack of ambiance, as there were only two other diners on a Thursday night. The restaurant is somewhat hidden and not visible from the main road.
During our recent stay in the area, we discovered this hidden gem located just a short walk away from us. The food was delicious and fresh, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
I went out for Sunday lunch with my dad. My dad had the pork and I had the half a chicken. We both absolutely loved it and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful Sunday dinner. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
We were staying in the local area and I’ve had a hankering for ‘pub lasagne’ for weeks, searched for pub food nearby and found The Lamb. SO GLAD we did what a little gem. The food was delicious, right down to the side salad. Everything well seasoned, hot, fresh, and the chips were possibly the best I’ve had including in Michelin starred joints! Service also really welcoming and friendly, couldn’t fault it at all. Came to £45 for two courses each plus a pint and a soft drink which (in my view) is excellent value for the quality.
Lovely pub, and lovely peaceful back garden. The Chef here takes real pride in his work, his passion for the food he cooks shines through. The Sunday lunch here is awesome. Such a great choice of super juicy delicious perfectly cooked meats, and roast potatoes which are bang on. The desert menu is heaven, sticky toffee pud, crumbles, cheesecake, all the chefs own creation. He even makes his own delicious Ice creams. Roll on next Sunday, what a real treat to have a Chef like this in Radstock. Divine
