only immersed for a drink before I could check into my hotel, but was very smart and nice atmosphere. too many tables and chairs for the small room and it made it a bit awklig to press by people to get to the bar, but others than that it was beautiful. the series of gin looked great, but this time I stayed crying! What Gman doesn't like about The Black Fox:
Thought we would eat here before going to the Chapel Arts Centre. Nice atmosphere in the pub but a bit chilly. However we had to wait 40 minutes for our meal to arrive with no apology. Apparently only one chef on duty. If they had told us that when we ordered we would have gone somewhere else View all feedback.
This is an intelligent pub offering a good selection of bar foods with very good fishing and chips on the menu. There is also a good selection of genuine and craft beer and a reasonable wine and gin selection. the service is good and there is a pleasant atmosphere. try the bath gin!
Fab location. very friendly welcome through the host access to the rooms is on a door on the side of the building, good breakfast, dog friendly, easy access to pay and display parking (avon place, by the uni parking opposite the black fox) (only coins) they pay for 8 o'clock to 8 o'clock then 8 p0m to 8 o'clock is free. 15.) brilliant duel aspektzimmer (13) techno smart tw (landlord very helpful for the not so it savvy)
We stayed at the Premier Inn ‘Bath City Centre’ on a couples break with our friends. The ‘ Black Fox’ is conveniently two minutes walk away from the hotel on the way into Bath town. We stopped for lunch and drinks and we all really enjoyed it. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and a friendly welcome from the manager and staff. There is a great selection of ales and drinks and a nice lunch menu. We ordered steak sandwiches and fish finger sandwiches for lunch, all cooked perfectly and tasting great. We ordered ales, fizz and a ‘gin flight. ’The ‘Black Fox’ is modern and clean and we all enjoyed it so much, we returned for drinks at the end of our day in Bath and were welcomed again by the friendly staff and manager. This is truly a place where the customer is genuinely looked after and service is top notch. We would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again. Thank you.
Lovely little town centre pub a few meters from the Thermae spa . Food good, atmosphere relaxed and friendly, Service /staff were exceptional. Definitely recommended.
Very good location. You have paid parking on Corn St right next to the hotel.
