I was here last week. what a beautiful pub in absolutely beautiful village. a beautiful place to go for a city. eating here is absolutely crushed. you can say that the chef loves his craft and brings his love and soul into the food. my favourite food from the dishes I had here is certainly the steak. seasonal menu, local products, nice eating. in any case you have to visit at least once per season. the workers here love their job, love their guests and very welcome. the beer garden is clean and simply amazing to drink under the sun during the day, and then during the night stargaze at the stars.
Great family pub with very friendly people. Food looked good. Really worth going
Lovely meal with the family last night next to the fire. Always great food and a warm welcome from the owners. It's what you want from a village pub.
Really big rack of ripening (corns and chips was also on place.) eltern had burger and said they were great. even the small chicken bugs were delicious, and they usually don't expect much of them. real beautiful beer garden outside, with a high quality tent. large selection of beer and quite solid selection of likör. unfortunately not much scotch. pleasant atmosphere and would definitely visit again.
Stay here for a night on May 28, 2020. nice pub with friendly bar staff. we had lunch in the pub before we went to bath and on our return later in the evening there was a live band that was very good. we had both the ham and chicken cake for lunch, which was delicious and is highly recommended. we were in room 1, which was very clean and has everything she needed for a comfortable night sleep. there are 2 rooms in the upper floor in an adjoining building, which are accessible via a separate lockable entrance. parking is located at the back of the building. the breakfast was included in the price and is offered in a shared kitchen. this was also presented very well. the choice of breakfast was excellent with chalk, croissants, toast, obst, orange juice and tee and coffee etc. overall we had a great stay in a nice friendly pub in a beautiful village and would definitely recommend the place and hope again very soon.
