We frequent the hofcafés often. They have a fantastic playground for children where we enjoy sitting in a little hut, playing games, and coloring while we sip on hot chocolate. It's also a perfect starting point for some lovely walks nearby, such as to Kelston Roundhill or down to the river. View all feedback.

Unexpectedly pleasing, we wanted to go to kelston round hills, but could not park near and decided to have a look at the cheese shop that has much more than just cheese. there is also a footpath that leads behind to the bristol Bath cycle and the river bank on the other side of the saltford marina. toasties were great, rose wein was excellent, the cake might be a bit heavy, but beautiful, top day out!
Nice cafe and shop, milkshake was great! Can go and see the cows and ducks. We did a short walk down to the river and looped back around which was nice.
I visited this restaurant with my family and friends multiple times after a walk, sometimes just for a snack. The beach huts, both inside and outside, are all unique and cozy. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, the wait staff are attentive and friendly. I will definitely return here as I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!
Pull up, park your car and hit one of their scenic hiking trails. I personally recommend the Kelston Round Hill route. After your hike, stop by their café for some delicious snacks. Their cheese and chutney sausage rolls and milkshakes are a must-try!
