VEGANS AVOID!!! You'll witness your vegetarian companions savoring delightful dishes, but alas, none for you if you're a vegan. Yorkshire puddings? Unavailable. Cheese leeks? Not an option. Bread sauce? Out of the question. It's clear the chef hasn't considered the vegan guest experience; it's a matter of attitude rather than aptitude. I'm certain providing vegan alternatives would have been simple, but if you're vegan, you're stuck with the vegetarian offerings minus anything nice. For dessert? An uninspiring dry apple crumble, as there's no vegan cream, ice cream, or any other choice. Vegans are merely tolerated here, not genuinely welcomed. It's best to steer clear unless you relish witnessing others revel in a splendid time while you're left with plain boiled side vegetables and no alternatives. Don't get me wrong, the veg I ate was lovely and fresh but the experience of being excluded from any other trimming was sour indeed. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I have visited this restaurant twice, once on a Sunday and then again on a Friday. The Sunday roast at this place is the best in Bath, hands down. On my second visit, I went with a date and we tried the curry selection for 2, which allows you to sample everything on the menu in tapas style. It was my favorite dining experience of its kind, not just in Bath, but in all of Britain. The building used to be a barn and looks unassuming from the outside, but inside it is warm and cozy, especially in the evening. All the ingredients are either grown onsite or sourced locally, which is evident in the freshness and flavor of the dishes. The service is friendly and accommodating. The only downside is the difficulty in getting a table due to high demand (booking a table for Sunday roasts at least 3 months in advance is recommended). I am excited to try their Saturday supper club. Castle Farm, please never change!
