Was Sponge Bob at The Brick Store a mag?
The Brick Store is a favorite of mine. I like to stop in to look around. Then it's a snack to go out back to the Bath Bridge. It's a shame it's not open at the moment. I love old general stores. I also love covered bridges and waterfalls. Bathgives me all three. Although the falls is pretty small. But you take what you can get. I almost always leave with a good portionof fudge. I make this a destination in my plannin... View all feedback.

I accidentally found this spot while exploring, and it was a wonderful surprise. They have a wide variety of items available. I ended up buying the most delicious apple and cinnamon jelly. Additionally, they have some nostalgic games from my childhood, and the staff was incredibly friendly. This place is filled with so much nostalgia that you can’t help but stroll around and take it all in.

If you're nearby, this is definitely a place worth checking out. We almost missed it, but I remembered I needed a postcard just as we were leaving the covered bridge next to the store. The prices are slightly on the higher side, but it ended up being a fun stop. We even bought some local maple syrup while we were there!

During our vacation in North Conway, we made a long drive to visit The Brick Store. We were glad we had lunch beforehand rather than waiting until we arrived. Despite the hotel brochure and the seafood restaurant advertising deli and fresh sandwiches, the offerings were actually pre-made. Although there was a small bakery counter, there was no real deli to speak of. The building itself is quite large, but the store feels surprisingly small and doesn’t have the atmosphere of a traditional general store. I was disappointed since I grew up near the gristmill and general store in Sudbury, MA, and this place didn’t compare. I had also expected it to be more like the general store in downtown North Conway, but it fell short of those expectations as well. On a positive note, we enjoyed the nearby covered bridge and were able to snack on the food we had brought while sitting on a bench outside, so the visit wasn’t a total loss.

The Brick Store is one of my favorite spots. I enjoy browsing inside and then grabbing a snack to take outside to the Bath Bridge. It’s unfortunate that it’s currently closed. I have a fondness for old general stores, covered bridges, and waterfalls, and Bath offers all three. Although the waterfall is quite small, you appreciate what you can get. I almost always walk away with a generous amount of fudge. This place is a must-visit whenever I’m in the area.

I'm happy to see The Brick Store reopened under new ownership—they've done an excellent job renovating, and the place looks fantastic. I was also pleased that they continue to offer smoked items like pepperoni, cheese, and sausage. In my opinion, the quality is even better than before. I highly recommend stopping by The Brick Store.
