Captain D's Seafood - Batesville

I really wanted to give this restaurant a chance, believing that everyone can have an off day. So, I held off on my review for a while. Unfortunately, they just don't seem to be able to get things in order. Waiting 20 minutes along the side of the building is pretty unreasonable. Initially, I was in the drive-thru, but they asked me to pull up to wait for fries and hush puppies. I maintained a good attitude throughout, but I’ve decided I won’t be returning.

The food was great, but, the service left something to be desired. We waited at least 10 minutes while our order sat on the window from the kitchen while the young lady working the front counter was busy chatting and joking with customers that came in after us. Finally someone from the kitchen came out front to give us our food.

The food was delicious better than some of food we had on the Gulf

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The customer service was lacking, and it took nearly 30 minutes to receive my order. The cleanliness was also an issue, as the tables, bathrooms, and floors were dirty. Unfortunately, by the time my food arrived, it was cold since it had been sitting in the window for 15 minutes while the staff finished preparing another dish in the back.

People are rude and unfriendly. You literally have to ask them for each individual item and they still end up missing something every time.
