This restaurant always serves good quality food at reasonable prices. It is spacious and we never have trouble finding a table. The atmosphere is pleasant, with good acoustics. It stays open until 10pm, even when most other places in town have already closed. View all feedback.
What Janick Stracke doesn't like about Ra-Cha Thai Restaurant:
Got three lots of take away. Clearly asked for no capsicum, and it was noted on the order slip, but all meals ended up with capsicum. Disappointing anytime, however we were charged an extra 10% for the Easter long weekend, so it was an extra level of disappointing!! View all feedback.
I adore this cozy restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious. Even though the drive-thru is a bit slower than other places, the quality makes it worthwhile.
I visited the restaurant today and was disappointed with the quality of the salsa and cheese dip. The salsa tasted bad and the cheese dip seemed artificial. The lemonade was tangy but not too bad. Overall, the food was bland.
Love the food hereOur first time here the waitress was a bit rude, but the food was great so I came back.
Visited with friends who often live in the area and recommended this place. I visit Thailand quite often, and to say this is Thai food is stretching it a bit I think. I ordered Thai Fish Cakes (which are my favourite) and they were very bland and didn't come with the usual spicy dipping sauce that every good Thai restaurant provides. The rest of the entrees were spring rolls and prawn cutlets - definitely not Thai in origin. Our mains were very bland stir-frys - again more Chinese than Thai. Service was OK (it was a quiet night) and servings were generous, but it's definitely more Chinese than true Thai. I since learned that the owner is Thai, so maybe they're catering for their standard clientele who are not keen on true Thai food.
The crispy skin pork belly was amazing. If you want good homey thai food, this is the place to be. The space was great for large groups (tables up to 10+ I think) and the view was nice. I think the name has changed to 'Mao's Thai restaraunt'.
