They have expanded! They have a whole new menu including wood fire pizza. The expansion will hit your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore. Pro tip: Get the soft pretzel you will thank me later. What Anna S dislikes about Bean Brew:
I am giving this restaurant 3 stars, but I would have given less if not for the assumption that they were short-staffed. He only had one person working at the counter on Saturday, and it took nearly 20 minutes to get a drink. The bigger issue was that the price of the drink was $1.50 more than what was listed on their chalkboard. Be sure to keep an eye on their pricing. The drinks are more expensive than Starbucks or... Came in for dinner. Overall, everything was very average. the spicy cheese curds were actually very good. We both got the kick'n chicken sandwich, it was supposed to be spicy but neither sandwiches had any amount of spice to them. Just a very basic chicken sandwich. They charge $3 for a can of pop (not fountain) which seems very outlandish to me, as a 12 pack of pop is $9.99 in store. Fries were good and the server was very very nice. We had such a disappointing experience. The food took almost an hour to come out, with nobody else at the restaurant. The food did not come out all at once. The French toast came with 5/6 of the sticks and they looked like they came from a frozen box at Walmart. The pizza had a lot of black burnt pieces, which my kids couldn’t eat. One side of fries had seasoning, the other plain- completely different. The egg and sausage croissant was smashed like a pancake. We have heard such good things about this place and we were extremely disappointed, especially the amount we paid for the food. Not one apology for the very slow service or the messed up food. : We also tried to order a coffee next door but there was nobody in sight!!
Came in for dinner, had pretty high expectations for the glowing reviews we've read. Overall, everything was very average. the spicy cheese curds were actually very good. We both got the kick'n chicken sandwich, it was supposed to be spicy but neither sandwiches had any amount of spice to them. Just a very basic chicken sandwich, it wasn't bad necessarily just not what was advertised. They charge $3 for a *can* of pop which seems very outlandish to me, as a 12 pack of pop is $9.99 in store. they did not have fountain drinks or anything besides cans of pop or water. Fries were alright and the server was very very nice. Just a very average meal for what we paid.

This is a charming coffee shop that also does some breakfast food, biscuits were great, seems like that is a weekend special there, it's worth it.They have a porch overlooking the river with outdoor seating, even though it was a warm day it was still cool and inviting out there due to shade trees and a sun cover. Can't say enough nice things about their veranda. Coffee was good tooParking: Parking lot just behind adjoining building, plenty of space mid-morning on a Saturday when we went
Hidden gem to a T. This place has the best coffee around. Love the outside atmosphere addition and yet this place still has so much potential. Good vibes every time I’ve been here!Service: 5/5
I really cannot say enough nice things, the food is amazing, I had the tomato soup and I have tomato soup a lot of places and this was hands down amazingly awesome, the coffee, just don't get me started on the coffee, the barista is kind and listens to you and will make your coffee exactly how you ask as long as you communicate. If you are not a good communicator write it down or something they aim to please try not to be the barrier. They are awesome they will help just ask!Vegetarian options: They have a wide selection of food and milk options if you have a really specific need I would recommend calling ahead but it seemed like they had it covered.Parking: Best place is directly across main St at a gravel lot of you are east on Main take a left at the light at the Bean and Brew (UDF) Then an almost immediate left. You can cross at the light there is a signal with a button on the pole.Wheelchair accessibility: The main door has stairs but if you go past it there is a side door at street level and no obstruction.Dietary restrictions: Looking at the menu and speaking with the barista it seemed like they had a lot of dietary restrictions covered but if you have something extraordinarily specific I would recommend calling ahead just to be sure

Stopped in while on vacation with a group of friends. All of us had excellent meals and delicious craft beverages. The two women working were friendly, knowledgeable and added to the already killer atmosphere of the restaurant. Right on the river, great covered patio, comfy seating options inside as well. Would definitely go back.Food: 5/5

Bean and brew is such a great place! I'm always passing and I'm finally stopped. I wish I stopped earlier. I had no idea that they have a complete tasty menu of sandwiches and salads. the hot latte was made perfect on my request and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. so glad that this coffee shop is in sweet inner city of batavia. 5 stars ps they also have beer and bands!
My man and I have eaten there at lunch yesterday and will definitely go back. he had the meat stow sandwich and I had the pulled pork. both were very good. also the icy mocha was delicious. the young women who work there were very helpful and very nice.
This place is great! great atmosphere along with an amazing terrace. they can say that everyone is happy to be there. highly recommended, keep this jewel in historical flea mouse!
The coffee shop is very nice and clean, the art is really nice while they wait. that was our first time there, and the woman who led the counter this day, I will assume that she had no big day. she was pretty short and quite rude. instead of asking what my man or I said she threw a look and said huh? . eating was good, I'll say $35 for the photo plus two drinks is a little expensive.
Comfortable and cool atmosphere. Food is excellent. The chicken salad sandwich is very good. Hot chocolate was creamy and delicious. The muffins are massive! Lots of rooms and seats to choose from. Staff was extremely kind and welcoming. Definitely check out this coffee shop on Main Street Batavia! A hidden gem, for sure.
