The taco truck was amazing (even though it's no longer there). I love the relaxed vibe, and the bartenders are outstanding; they somehow remember my drink even though I only visit once or twice a month. There are always fun activities happening, and I especially enjoy the outdoor fires in the winter. My only request would be for them to occasionally feature more mellow bands, like acoustic performers, as the louder older bands can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for such a chill atmosphere.

The food is below average... read more Back 9 has significant problems. The atmosphere feels unwelcoming, and cleanliness is a major concern—there were roaches on the floor. The food is below average, and the place has an unpleasant smell. Drinks are served in plastic cups, which is disappointing. I also witnessed underage drinking and gambling taking place. The parking lot is dangerous, with nails and screws scattered about. Overall, Back 9 is the worst gay bar I have ever been to.
