A Funtana - Bastia

This is such a great restaurant. Everything fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. The service is accommodating and attentive and a good value. It was wonderful.

I should have been forewarned by the absence of not one review in English, something very rare in Corsica. Many of the highly-rated reviews, all in French, were posted by people with one or two reviews, something always suspicious. Regardless, this was the worst meal I have encountered on this, and many other trips to France. The so-called veal escalope was a 1/2 piece of meat, scorched on the outside and nearly raw in the middle, totally inedible. The accompanying frites were equally scorched. A first course of a salad with cooked-to-death chicken livers, breaded chicken tenders, slices of smoked duck, and hard-boiled eggs was just a little less objectionable. Caveat emptor!

Nous nous sommes rendus à ce restaurant le jour de notre arrivée l'accueil est parfait, le patron est au top et nous a fait aimer la Corse ! La cuisine est excellente et le restaurant très beau, c'est pourquoi nous avons eu le plaisir d'y retourner une seconde fois. Nous conseillons ce restaurant à tous

Pour notre dernier resto en Corse, nous sommes tombés un peu par hasard sur cette adresse avant de reprendre le ferry. Cuisine simple mais bonne avec des produits de qualité. Très bon rapport qualité / prix et service impeccable.
