What Phoebe W doesn't like about The Kings Arms:

She then yelled at us to pay for the drink she had just served us. We decided not to go back and preferred to go to a cleaner and friendlier pub nearby, wher... View all feedback. I had heard good reports and was so pleased we visited. Spotlessly clean, excellent choice of well kept ales, really friendly and welcoming with a varied menu choice too. We will be back! We loved our Polish Goulash View all feedback.

read moreThe Kings Arms is a village pub that has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting a transition period following a change in ownership. While some patrons encountered unwelcoming service and a need for refurbishment, many others celebrated its friendly atmosphere and consistently excellent food. Diners praised the traditional fare, including well-prepared gluten-free options, and highlighted the warm hospitality from the staff. Guests noted the hearty portions, particularly enjoying the Yorkshire puddings and Polish goulash. Although some remarked on cleanliness issues, the overall sentiment leans towards a cozy, welcoming establishment worth revisiting for its delightful culinary offerings and inviting ambiance.
