Happy House - Bassetlaw

We had a large spring roll which was very nice, the crispy shredded beef with honey and sesame seeds was tasty as was the king prawns in black bean sauce. Forgot to check on the portion size of the house special fried rice blimey! a meal in itself! It was lovely though rice on the bottom of the tray topped with quite a bit of sliced meat and covered in sauce very nice.

I ordered a meal last week and it didn't come with fries. When I asked for them a week later, they were very poor quality - cold and tasteless.

I ordered from Happy House tonight, specifically mentioning my severe shellfish allergy over the phone, particularly my allergy to prawns. I requested that no prawns be near my food, including prawn crackers. Unfortunately, our order arrived with a bag of prawn crackers in the bag. This raised concerns about potential cross-contamination in the kitchen. When I called to address the issue, all I received was a brief apology and no offer to replace my meal, which I was unable to eat due to fear of anaphylactic shock. This lack of concern for my safety is unacceptable. I will not be patronizing this restaurant again. This is very poor and, frankly, dangerous.

Although the reviews here appear to be positive, we usually get takeout from Aroma. Unfortunately, it was closed so we opted to try Happy House. We ordered beef curry, crispy chilli beef, and chips to split. We picked up our order, and the establishment definitely needs updating. The beef curry was subpar, the chips were average, and the crispy chilli beef was terrible. There was hardly any beef in them, it was extremely tough, and it disintegrated into ash in your mouth. The quality was very poor.

Had many a takeaway from here and this has to be the best in Worksop. Delivered fresh, Hot and prompt, never had to wait annger than 20 minutes from ordering to receiving.
