stop them for lunch on the way in vacation. the food was delicious, great menu selection and the staff was nice. would definitely recommend! we are already planning our stop here on the way back! the atmosphere was beautiful in a beautiful and bright winter garden that looks out at the beautiful pub gardens! What User doesn't like about The Rampant Cat:
Be warned we had two industrial Cladding screws in each of our front tyres (annoyingly of which had only been replaced 2 weeks ago Cannot be definite it was the car park but was informed by a friend in the area that the pub is...used by a lot of builders on Friday lunchtimes. I recently visited a charming village pub in the Woolton Hill area of Newbury. I enjoyed a delicious roast chicken with all the traditional accompaniments, including a tasty Yorkshire pudding. The apple crumble dessert was also quite enjoyable. I noticed that they offer a selection of curry dishes as well, which looked very appealing. I will definitely be trying them out on my next visit. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, making for an overall pleasant dining experience.

Food part of the pub was empty aside from us! Good food, friendly staff. No pressure to vacate table once food finished.
An amazing place and with a name The Rampant Cat it's a great place to eat,chill and enjoy the atmosphere and the staff are amazing, we will definitely visit again
