During m... read more I visit this pub approximately every 6 weeks. The quality and cost of the fish and chips tend to fluctuate. The price can range from around £14 to £16. During my most recent visit, I was disappointed by the small amount of fish compared to the excessive batter. If the dish costs £16, there should be more fish included. The pub has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff are efficient and friendly. I just wish they would improve the portion size of the fish in the dish.

A big shout out to Taylor who totally went way far and beyond in his duties to make sure we were looked after we were preparing the night before for our friends... read more A big shout out to Taylor who totally went way far and beyond in his duties to make sure we were looked after we were preparing the night before for our friends funeral wake and he came and made sure we had drinks and that we had everything we wanted on the day of the wake he was there again being totally attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him he made us feel so welcome and what a lovely lad he is whoever his parents are they should be proud he is one outstanding ,polite and caring young man thank you Taylor the whole Barton’s Mill is impressive and a lovely place to rest and be waited on a very nice and relaxing outdoor space with waiter/waitress service will definitely go back but in nicer circumstances
