Terrible service! This is frustrating, especially since it's basically the only bar in Basile, LA! Every time I visit, the place is usually empty, and the same... read more Terrible service! This is frustrating, especially since it's basically the only bar in Basile, LA! Every time I visit, the place is usually empty, and the same bartender, Marie, often treats customers rudely and seems to neglect them. A few days ago, I went in, got acknowledged, but then had to wait as she left to make a phone call. I guess she needed permission to serve me? It was ridiculous! I ended up leaving without spending any money and went to a bar down the road in Elton, LA, where they were more than happy to take my business!
