Visiting spoons today 1st time group of us, couldn't book so turned up at 12. Lunch time paid £11.99 each, seated quickly. Refill drinks available kids loved it. Lots of choices, food fine for the money. Read lots of people complaining on trip advisor it's a buffet not a high end restaurant what do you want for £12 eat as much as you like! Our group ate lots of food, rice, pizza, noodles, sauces, garlic breads, sweet... View all feedback.
What Jeff D doesn't like about Spoon World Buffet:
Not good for vegetarians. 1 Curry option. Total nightmare family group next to us. Allowed kids to plié high food on their plates and then went off to get theirs. Infants throwing food on the floor. Banging spoons on plates . One ate so much she chocked then was sick. Staff didn’t care, just kept mopping food up off floor. Totally sickening. View all feedback.

My family came for dinner here this day. We were five in number. My eldest sister had some shrimps, shell fish, broccoli, sweet corn and some fried rice. While she was eating, a stone or what from the shell fish break her teeth. She reported to the head waitress that I could not get her name, all she could tell us was the disclaimer notice placed on the top of the buffet. There was no apologies from her. Question: do you intentionally placed stones or broken shell in the food so that guest can break their teeth? The fork that the guest will use in eating was placed in the back pocket of the head waitress which is a very bad practice. The cashier was good and so are the other service staff. All we wanted was an apology and not to refer us to a disclaimer notice placed on the buffet. This happened today at about 8:00pm. Her attitude showed us that we are not welcome into the restaurant. The mood has been good not until the unfortunate incidence and the bad attitude of the head waiter. My first time here and a bad experience being an hospitality professional myself. Am shocked.
Wow I couldn't wait to have lunch here. I was so disappointed. Food was old and slimy. Chicken in many different dishes was just not right, slimy texture. No care goes into these dishes. Loads of choice but it all tastes the same. Bombay aloo potatoes are so mushy it actually made me gag. So gutted as really wanted to like this place
Came here with family. My first impression is that if you're bored with chicken don't eat here, it's everywhere, little else. Next impression was everything is luke warm which is worrying. Chicken was under cooked and I felt rough all the next day. To all those telling me don't complain cos it's cheap, there's a difference between cheap and edible.
I used to frequent this buffet restaurant for lunch before Covid, but after visiting twice this year I noticed some concerning issues. The food was not at the recommended temperature and there were used plates left on the table. We had to move the plates to a neighboring table ourselves. Despite the increase in price, the variety of food has significantly decreased. Many of the hot food containers that were typically full before Covid are now empty, and the dessert options have been reduced by half. Even the Japanese food section has limited choices compared to before. Additionally, the food on the plates is often lukewarm by the time one sits down to eat.
