New Curry King - Basildon

During lockdown, we made a new discovery with this restaurant. Their menu is fascinating, offering lots of new and exciting dishes to try. My personal favorite is the Nagariya Chicken, but I highly recommend trying the Gurkhas Revenge dish with minced meat and chicken. Don't worry, it won't come back to bite you in the morning. One thing to note is that there are no vegetarian options on the 'Just Eat' menu, their preferred method of online ordering. However, when I called the take-away directly, I discovered they do have vegetarian options available, so make sure to check with them if that's your preference. The delivery service is excellent. Every time I've requested a Saturday night delivery for 7:15pm, it has arrived within 10 minutes - amazing! Definitely worth a try.

Although it took over an hour for our food to arrive due to it being a busy Saturday night, we were pleasantly surprised when it did. The dishes smelled delicious and the takeaway containers were filled to the brim. For the price, we got a generous amount of food including a lamb dopiaza, pilau rice, chicken biryani, sag aloo, and two keema nans. The total came to £22.95 and we even received a complimentary bombay aloo for spending over £15. Despite being just two people, we had leftovers because of the large portions. The food was so tasty that we tried to finish it all in one go. The curries were full of meat and flavor, the keema nans were oversized, and the sag aloo had a perfect balance of potatoes and spinach. We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again as it offered delicious, high-quality food at a great value.

Good his was taken over by a company called spicy cuisine they have a few in london and kent I had a few starters and a net absolutely fantastic first time I had a real curry in the old delivery was on time eating super recommended thank you

The curry king is under new management, I ordered a king prawn biryani with a few next to dishes and it was absolutely beautiful. as I live only around the corner, I collected it myself so that I cant coment on the delivery

However, when I phoned the take-away they do have vegetarian options so check direct if that's your thing. Delivery is spot on. Each time I have asked for a Sat night delivery for it has arrived within minutes.....amazing! Well worth a try.
