This is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time, definitely the best in Basildon. The food was delicious, hot, and well-priced. It wasn't greasy at all, and I could tell that the kitchen takes a lot of care in preparing the dishes. I am usually hard to please, but I was really impressed with this restaurant.

I tried this new Chinese restaurant last night for my birthday dinner, and I have to say that we will not be returning. The food was very bland and not served hot. The "Kung Po Beef" tasted like a McDonald's burger chopped up with flavorless sweet and sour sauce, it was not authentic Kung Po sauce at all. For a £75 order, the food was terrible. I have never had such a bland and flavorless Chinese meal before, which is disappointing. The prawn toast was greasy and overcooked, the KP balls had very little filling, and the ribs in sauce were tasteless and had no meat. The only good dishes were the shredded chicken and salt and chili prawns. I was really disappointed as it was my birthday meal and it ruined the experience for me. Small details like not including a pack of prawn crackers in a £75 order and charging extra for them can make a big difference in the overall reputation of a restaurant. It's a shame because we have struggled to find a decent Chinese restaurant in this area.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant. My partner ordered the satay chicken, but it was burnt and dry. The spring rolls were cold and seemed light on filling, and the chips were soggy. The sweet and sour chicken and chow mein were decent, but overall we will not be ordering from here again.
