Contribute FeedbackDespite a kind and friendly staff, this restaurant received mixed reviews. Diners complained about the poor quality of food, with some even feeling sick from the smell of dirty dishwater on the plates. Another group had a frustrating experience securing a table for six, waiting 50 minutes for their food, and finding the steaks to be subpar. On a positive note, having a Taste card helped reduce the bill to just £10 per person with a soft drink. Lessons learned included booking in advance and utilizing the Taste card to avoid disappointment in the future.
We went to the restaurant and asked for a table for 6, but were told there was nothing available until 8pm even though the restaurant was half empty. We decided to book a table online for 6:15pm with OpenTable, went back inside, mentioned our reservation, and were seated at an empty table for 6. However, we had to wait 50 minutes for our food. Our server was friendly and apologetic. The food was okay; we ordered 2 pizzas, 3 calzones, and a sirloin steak which seemed more like rump steak as it was too thin and tough. Thankfully, we had a Taste card which reduced the cost to £10 per person with a soft drink. We were in a hurry due to a cinema booking, so we learned to book in advance and use our Taste card in the future. Otherwise, we might not have been satisfied paying the full bill.
Has a nice atmosphere staff are always polite and friendly especially Emma food is nice too
The food was terrible. The food quality has declined. The food looked nothing like the pictures. Worse than McDonald's.
I made a reservation for Mother's Day and found the staff to be very kind, and the waitress was friendly. However, the food was not good and not enjoyable at all. Additionally, the scent of dirty dishwater coming from the plates tainted the meal. It honestly made me feel sick. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she said it was probably the dishwasher causing the smell. It was quite unpleasant.
We approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!
