This was hands down the worst Chinese food I have ever tasted. More than half of the meat was fatty skin, the chow mein was mushy, the chicken balls were bland, and the beef balls were cold and clearly reheated. Nearly £50 worth food last night at 17.30 clock 3.5 hours later it became cold and unbeatable. I called 4 times and was lied every time, I was told it was gone when it wasn't cooked. the person who answered the phone was rude and hung twice on me. I guess taking is busy at the moment, but it's not an excuse for shocking service and bad eating. in wickford there are many other outs that will like to accept my need.
Lied to on the phone (twice) resulting in food being over an hour late. Appalling service, wont be using them again!

We're not great takeaway people but my husband and daughter wanted pizza and I didn't! I chose Dragon Chef as they were on Just Eat and had really good reviews. For some reason my order was cancelled on Just Eat so I called direct and...they delivered as quickly as they could. Often with takeaways, you're disappointed and wish you hadn't bothered which is why we don't bother but I really wasn't. Great service and the food was lovely. I ordered Hong Kong Style Chicken, beef and mushrooms and rice. The chicken wasn't what I expected but that was my fault but the beef was lovely, tender and tasty and so was the rice. Lots of food I had the leftovers for lunch for 2 days and it was delicious. I will definitely be back. I cook a lot which is why we don't order in much and am really surprised that Dragon Chef hasn't been reviewed yet. I hope others will go and give them a try.
I don’t usually write reviews but dragon chef deserves this I ordered a large takeaway for my sons birthday and the food really did impress me and my guests I think it’s the best takeaway in wickford by far
