While out walking around Basel on October 10th we discovered Zum schmale Wurf. It was a beautiful day so we decided to stop and have lunch. This is a very small restaurant with outdoor dining and is on the Rhine. We both ordered pastas (I would say the smaller size for lunch is perfect) and split a salad. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent and the view of the city is fantastic. View all feedback. What Melanie doesn't like about zum Schmale Wurf:
Small bar right on the water. Ideal for enjoying the sunshine. Food was ok, price performance ok. Unfortunately, goat cheese was far too cold. And you always had to draw attention to yourself in order to be able to order again. View all feedback.

Perfect for some drinks, very close to the river
Ordered meat ravioli. It was terrible, couldn't even eat it. I’ve had better ravioli in economy on an airplane.
