So we have local families and friends meeting from the City of Basel. The food is excellent quality, prepared fresh and garnished beautifully. I particularly enjoyed the 28 day matured pork steak, delicious and tender. The wine served was a typical pinot noir from the Basel vineyards, light, flavoursome and acceptable with the warmth of a summer evening. To begin my experience, I enjoyed a campari spritz, before my dinner and wine was served. Desert was simply delicious, lightly spiced apricots, sauteed, served in a delicious sauce with some real swiss ice cream. A little indulgence every now and then is a good thing, no? Then after, before I left, a small digestive, a local prepared svetchgen (Damson) schnapps. My experience was complete and my delight exceeded. Go try it out for your selves and enjoy.
