The problem is like everywhere in Switzerland : when you draw a conclusion pertaining to tourism. Once you've have taken into account the price, the service, the food/beverages and the setting, you end up by giving 3 stars at the most 95% of the time. View all feedback.
We used to eat at Schützenhaus quite a lot, since the food there is really tasty. The problem is, that the staff is rather strange sometimes even impudent. They used to make weird, inappropriate jokes and get kinda touchy. This is just unacceptable considering the rather high prices, which is why we won‘t come back.
My wife and I met some friends in this place. I was never here but my friends proposed this restaurant. The food was very good. Not cheap but fair. The service was excellent. The historic building including the furnitures, paintings and stained glass is amazing. You shouldn't miss it.

Lovely terrace, great food thanks to the excellent quality ingredients and very helpful and friendly staff. We will be back!
The vistit in the anciant house is as such an experience.now about food the best tartar i ever had worldwide, also the geschnetzletrs in mushrommecreamsauce and roesti is among my best experiences
