Went during busy time as Basel World and as always the restaurant was busy and over crowded. Finally got seated 15 mins late staff very unfriendly didn't reset table properly. Was left with no side plate or glass. We were a party of 10. Ordered a mix of starters which were dumped on the table . Main of steak was good but not sure I would bother going again as very over priced for what we had . 10 people no desserts 2 bottles of wine and over a 1000 Swiss francs. Think they use the fair to over book over crowd and over charge people
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner at Roma. It was in the vicinity of the Swissotel, so we could easily walk there. I had the Rosetta (I usually know this as rollitini in the US)and it was fabulous...tasty, perfectly rolled fresh pasta with a delicious cheese sauce. Service was pleasant and the atmosphere was one of a cozy neighborhood cafe. We enjoyed our meal and we’re glad we visited Roma!
