It's been more than 30 years that I hadn't been at Mr. Wong in Basel but the taste of the food still has not changed a bit. Still delicious, especially the chicken fried rice. It was a pleasure to see it still exists and offers the same quality of food. The location has changed but I like this place better as it offers a better access into the restaurant. The food is good, loved the shrimp soup, too much for us but everything nice anyway. The service was good one lady did not even turn to look at us, however the other girl was very nice and tried her best to be helpful.
The food tasted okay ish. Both our food was freshly cooked. During the night both of us started getting a fever, stomach cramps, diarrhea and we were vomiting all night and are still sick. We contracted a Norovirus which gave us both a nasty stomach flu. Since my girlfriend and I had been pretty isolated from other people this week and got sick at the same time after eating at Mr. Wong, we are pretty sure we contracted the virus from our food at Mr. Wong.
There is less hectic than in the branch at the train station. Staff very friendly, food freshly prepared.
The food is very tasty It's prepared quickly and the service was very nice.
Very unfriendly service! Food was very bland in contrast to other locations.
