Good cafeteria style place with lots of different options for everybody. Food was good for the price. For everyone complaining about prices, Prices will be high regardless of where you go in Switzerland
I ate here twice during my stay in Basel. The market hall offers a very international, excellent food selection. Here's something for every taste. The next ones have a large selection of drinks with mostly local or homemade drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Clara is a must in Basel. PS: The burgers from la manufacture are awesome!

Very nice foodcourt, open on Sundays as well, with an outside sitting area. The Mexican dishes of Los Guapos were amazing.

Foodhalls are a nice concept. Klara is very busy and crowded, small portions and quite some divers kitchens. Very expensive for what you get. Quality is not the best, dishes mostly served by principles of fast food: standing in the kitchen for some time which may cause them to dry out. The burgers were great. Beers too. The atmosphere in the place is very comfy, I really enjoyed my dinner. I must add that this place is very easy to reach.
I really like this place because of the huge choice in cuisines so you can go with a group and everyone can just get whatever they like. I’m particularly a fan of the Vietnamese and Thai kiosks. The bar is staffed by fun and friendly competent staff :
Disappointing. Very limited selection on Sundays. First time I've been here since lockdown. It never used to be this scruffy and unkempt. And... it never used to be this expensive. Self service in scruffy place, same price as standard restaurant.... We moved on. Shame, i love the concept, but feels like they got lazy.
Very nice food courtyard in a trendy neighborhood with plenty of options, good ambiance and amazingly no smells!! I love to go there in winter
On June 22, 2021 we ordered the following dishes: 2 chicken coconut soups (Tom Kha Kai) 1 Phad Thai .........and we paid horrendous CHF66 for these 3 dishes without any drinks. And all this in a shabby self-service outlet!

Large burgers at La production. We have the crispy chicken burger and the spicy burger to share. Loved all the different options here. Swahili, Indian, Ethiopian, Argentine, etc.
I visited my friend in Basel and he took me here and I was soooo excited. I love absolutely food dishes in general, but this was especially special because they had so many great options They had Vietnamese food, Thai, Africa, Indians, Mezzes, Burgers, Momos and more that I can't remember. They have a bar in the middle and seating are spread all over the place. It looked like there was a lot of space, but I think we have the last place at 7:30 in a week. But people come and go so you can usually find something. I really enjoyed the two beers I had, along with the delicious Temz Momos (as always) and we also shared the hummus plate of YOYA Pita Bar (it was totally delicious.) I'm definitely back.
Central, easy to find, easy to find, casual place. I love the diverse food dish, the opportunity for events as well as the bistro/bar. I come here to meet either friends or with ppl, which are not basel, making it easier to eat different moods and/or available budget. this place works so well because there is no table service, they get their own eating, pay before location and they bring their own slender back to the designated station after the conclusion. this can feel a bit impersonal if they are not used for this type of settings, but I guess that sometimes. they can eat and take out and some of the food levels offer delivery within the individual opening times. sit both inside and outside. Note: it is not allowed to consume food or drinks that they did not buy there.
Amazing selection of dishes at reasonable prices and beautiful atmosphere! Please try Tenz Momo they are crazy tasty you will not regret
Great and fast (time wise) food. Take the mixed plate so you get a bit of everything. African cuisine is something you need to try because there‘s not a lot of it around in Switzerland. On the pricey side though. It‘s not guaranteed that you love everything on the plate but it surely is very interesting to try something different.
