Drinnen war ich noch nie. Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet, schön angerichtet und werden wirkungsvoll präsentiert, d.h. angerichtet.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Gemixter Vorspeise Teller würde ich sehr empfehlen.Auch der Hauptgang war gut. Für meinen Geschmack war das Beilagengemüse mit zu viel Öl gebraten. Jedoch das Fleisch war super lecker.

Das essen wurde in zügig serviert... read more Wie immer war das Essen auch dieses Mal sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat die Speisen der Karte erklärt. Das essen wurde in zügig serviert und top angerichtet. Man merkt sehr schnell, dass das kein 0-8-15 Convenience-Food ist sondern selber zubereitet. Tolle Gewürze und neue Geschmackserlebnisse! Wirklich ein Besuch wert und das Lokal ist immer gut besucht - eine Reservierung kann Sinn machen :-)

It is located in Gross Basel close to the Barfüsserplatz, i.e. you can easily get there by public transport. The staff of the restaurant was friendly but struggled a bit with speaking English. We ordered starter plates and mixed plates for main. The food was good, I liked especially the mixed starters. The main plate was quite meat heavy and after the huge starters more than we could eat. We had some Turkish red wine with the food (Pendore Öküzgözü 2017) it was a good fit to the meat.

We had falafel as main course, was not great. The service was ok, very neutral not warm or cold. Price was ok much considering that it is in Barfuzerplatz (in a back lane).

Typical dishes for Turkish restaurants in Basel but all had very nice flavor. Smallish space but had an outside area which I expect is nice in summer. There were a lot of Turkish wines which I don’t know much about however the waitress suggested a nice one. Enjoyable atmosphere, will return.
